HF197, or the Resolution to Congress to Affirm the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) as the 28th Amendment of The U.S. Constitution, passed the MN House of Representatives with a vote of 69 Yeas and 51 Nays! Thank you to ERA supporters, bill author Rep. Kristin Bahner, and legislators who voted for equality under the law for women. The bill now goes to the Senate for a vote. HF173, proposing an Amendment to the MN Constitution guaranteeing legal equality for all people, still needs to pass the House Rules Committee.
