National Voter Registration Day

On National Voter Registration Day 9/17, Minnesota held a live statewide virtual high school event, featuring a step-by-step voter (pre)registration session for students ages 16 and up! More than 100 high schools - public and private, rural, suburban, and urban - participated in our groundbreaking celebration of youth voices and civic engagement.

It's not too late to pre-register 16-17 year olds, and help eligible 18 year olds get voter-ready! Use one of the videos recorded during our live virtual events held in Blackduck and Bemidji, MN, and help get your students excited - and registered! Part 1 of the videos are great shout outs from youth across the state. And Part 2 is an actual step by step walk-through of how to pre-register online. You'll also find a link to the MN Secretary of State's High School Registration Tool-Kit and to Vote411, which helps all students (and staff!) get voter-ready for our November 5 elections!
