There are histories with audio options all over the building to enjoy!

Detailed information about parking options and the building can be found on the Landmark website at https://www.landmarkcenter.org/visit-us/. I've summarized some of the highlights below:

Parking - We highly suggest you park in the Lawson Ramp, which is just across the street. Use your Google Maps or other mapping tool to direct you to their address at: Lawson Ramp, 11 - 5th Street West, St. Paul, 55102 or direct maps link at - https://maps.app.goo.gl/fpNdU5ffYmNRgYBx9. There will be a fee of likely $15, but everything else is free! You can enter the ramp from two sides and once parked, you'll see Landmark Center just across the street! Note that there is A LOT of construction in Downtown St. Paul, so we encourage you to use your mapping tools to find the best way in.

Entry - There are actually entrances on all four sides of the building. But the Accessible Entrance for wheelchair entry, that's closest to the auditorium, is on the north side of the building, again, just across the street from the Lawson Ramp. Here's a photo of the location, which has a red awning and sign as your visual cue.

Time for Women

August 20, 2024 ~ 4:00 pm
F. K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium
at the Landmark Center, St. Paul

Time for Women” is an original play about notable women and suffragists in Minnesota history from 1870-1970. This traveling show features Southeast and Metro Minnesota women, from abolitionists to suffragists to protesters and lawyers. It also celebrates National Women's Equality Day on August 26, commemorating the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment expanding voting rights for women.

It includes two short plays: “Ladies Business, 1870” and “Votes for Women, Rally 1920”  which have been performed separately to over twenty  enthusiastic audiences and toured to five locations. Combining the plays thematically will deepen audience understanding of the long struggle of women for full citizenship. Playwright, historian, and director Jane Skinner Peck has adapted the script to the local history of each venue. Produced by History Alive Lanesboro, the play features Scandinavian immigrants, notable African Americans, an indigenous suffragist, and others. Intermission between the two plays will be a parade by willing audience members and there will be a discussion at the conclusion involving the local League of Women Voters. 2024 is a notable year as the centennial of Native American citizenship and suffrage, as well as an election year.

All tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance
