LWVMN Submits Public Comment to Campaign Finance Board on 2020 Legislative Proposals

On September 24, LWVMN submitted a public comment to the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board regarding the Board’s 2020 Legislative Proposals. LWVMN emphasized the importance of closing the gap on undisclosed money in politics in Minnesota. By tweaking the definition of “independent expenditure,” Minnesota can shine a light onto money in politics while adhering to existing constitutional requirements.
