Vote16 MN: Lowering the Voting Age

Vote16 MN is a youth-led movement advocating to lower the voting age to 16 in Minnesota, ensuring young people have a voice in local elections that shape their education and communities. Averie Younge (Executive Director of Communications) and Kyle Chen (Executive Director & Coordinator) will lead an informational webinar on action concerning youth enfranchisement. Their proposed bill aims to allow 16- and 17-year-olds to vote in school board elections, foster civic engagement, and facilitate lifelong voting habits. To register for this event, sign up below.
