On March 25, President Trump issued an Executive Order claiming control over elections, including ordering investigations of state voter records by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This move could disenfranchise millions of voters. Voting is not only a fundamental right, but it’s also how we hold elected officials accountable. How will this Executive Order impact Minnesota? Voters in other states? How is the Order similar to the proposed SAVE Act awaiting Congressional action? Does the Order violate the Constitution?
