All six Minnesota legislators representing District 24 and District 25 (Rochester) have been invited to share their viewpoints with us on issues identified as top priorities by LWV MN for the 2025 Minnesota legislative session. .

We’ll begin by asking our legislators about their own top priorities for this session. Then we’ll focus on questions developed by LWV MN on the following topics::

• Elections administration and how to ensure a balance between voter access and election security.

• Redistricting reform that ensures citizen involvement; prioritizes minority representation and communities of interest above geographic and political considerations; and is transparent through public input and review.

• Equal Rights Amendment (ERA)

• Climate change and ideas to address solutions for zero waste, natural resources protection, and government accountability.

Due to ongoing negotiations regarding the start of the legislative session, we understand some of the invited guests might not be able to attend our event. The situation is fluid and we’ll hope for the best. We will conduct the event with any legislators who are able to attend.
