Citizenship Ceremonies

  • Varies (see description) (map)

Citizenship Ceremonies are the culmination of the naturalization process and are a momentous and celebratory time for all involved!  For over 30 years, the League of Women Voters Minnesota, the US Federal Court System and US Customs and Immigration Services have worked together to host these milestone ceremonies for Minnesota’s newest citizens, more recently swearing in 100's of people per ceremony

Volunteers will be walking around the seated guests and helping them fill out their voter registration applications before the ceremony begins.  After the ceremony, volunteers will briefly review and collect the completed applications.

Participation is open to ALL.  You do not have to be a League of Women Voters member to participate.

Morning and afternoon time slots are available.

PLEASE NOTE
There are 2 sets of ceremonies on the 14th:
