LWVSP's June 27th Online Program
Join the League of Women Voters St. Paul (LWVSP) for its upcoming June "Learn with the League" program, "The 'State' of MN Water," continuing a focus on water issues in our yearly programming. The event will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, June 27, 7:00pm - 8:00pm.
"The 'State' of MN Water" will feature two guest speakers:
Ellen Considine, Hydrologist Supervisor, DNR
Avonna Starck, Minnesota State Director, Clean Water Action
Ellen Considine will discuss the ground water issues in greater Minnesota, how the changing climate affects ground water, and how it will impact Saint Paul water and the water infrastructure. Avonna Starck from Clean Water Action will walk through issues related to old lead pipes replacement.
This will be a virtual event. Interested participants can watch on LWVSP's Facebook page, or register on Zoom using the button below. The Zoom webinar will also be closed captioned and livestreamed on LWVSP's Facebook page and also available through program partners, SCCTV and SPNN, and on LWVSP's YouTube channel. Other program partners include LWV Roseville Area and LWV White Bear Lake Area.
