Study Resolutions

Firearms Update Study Resolution

A Firearms Update Study was approved at the 2019 Convention. A study committee convened and is recommending a set of updates to the Firearms Position in the Program for Action. Delegates will be given the opportunity to vote on the following resolution at Council on April 30.

Adopted April 30, 2022.

Firearms Consensus Study Resolution

The Firearms Update Study committee discovered in its research that the landscape surrounding firearms and firearm violence has changed significantly since the 1990 LWVMN Firearms Study. The committee is recommending that LWVMN conduct a consensus study to address these changes. Delegates will be given the opportunity to vote on the following resolution at Council on April 30.
