The registration fee for this year's Council meeting is $75.
Food includes continental breakfast, box lunch, snacks and coffee.
This event is for LWV members who are current on their dues; it is not open to the general public.
Post-Council Social
The post-Council social has been cancelled.
Registration fee is $10.
Gather with fellow League members and compare notes on all you learned at Council! The social will be in the restaurant on the main floor, Three One Six Bar + Grill. Limited appetizers offered. Drinks and additional food can be ordered à la carte. The event is during the restaurant's happy hour.
Space is limited so preregistration is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

If you don’t plan to send a full delegation and are open to letting another League use those seats, let us know. Likewise, if you wish to send a larger delegation than allotted, check with us for available options.
*The at-large members delegate pool is shared across all state units. For 2020, this number is 4.
Schedule
8:30 AM – Registration opens
8:30-10:00 AM – Local League table displays on view highlighting program successes, operational procedures and governance best practices (i.e.: board structure) and other sharable tips! If your League would like to reserve table space, contact us.
9:00-9:45 AM – Budget Caucus
10:00 AM – Business meeting convenes, including concurrence on Medical Aid in Dying (see below)
The later start enables members from outside the metro area to make Council a day trip.11:45 AM - 1:00 PM – Lunch and networking
1:15-2:30 PM – Concurrent workshops on Advocacy and Voter Service
2:30-2:45 PM – Break
2:45-4:00 PM – Workshop for all
4:00-4:15 PM – Wrap-up and next steps
4:15-4:30 PM – Meeting of LWVUS Convention delegates
There will be an optional social gathering afterwards. Time and location TBD.

Medical Aid in Dying
LWV Minneapolis will be requesting that the delegates concur with the following two-part position, which was officially adopted by the LWV Minneapolis Board of Directors on January 8, 2020:
League of Women Voters Minneapolis believes state laws should grant the option for a terminally ill person to request medical assistance from a relevant, licensed physician to end one’s life.
League of Women Voters Minneapolis believes such legislation should include safeguards against abuse for the dying and/or medical personnel.
